Skype 2.1 for Android

A little over a month, Skype released version 2.0 of its official application for Android which not only expanded the number of compatible devices but it also comes with video calling for more phones. However, this feature only worked for a few phones.

If your phone is not on the list do not worry. For those using Android 2.2 or higher Froy, must have access to Skype video calls through the settings. Just go to “Set Skype” after entering in the application and select “enable video calls.”

If you can not see the video call settings, which unfortunately means your Android phone does not have the minimum requirements needed to make Skype video calls. Note that the quality of the video call may not be as good as a certified device Android and only the rear camera work if you have Android 2.2 or higher.
